Sake-Inspired Baths

Sake-Inspired Baths - Overflowing Tubs by Kaesch (GALLERY)

In keeping with my current sink and tub obsession, these beautiful, tranquil Overflowing Tubs by Munich company, Kaesch are something else to hanker after.

A Red Dot Design award winner, the inspiration for the six designs stems from the Japanese tradition of pouring sake into the wooden ‘Masu’ cup, and allowing it to ‘overflow’ into the saucer.

The names of the models conjure up the experiences they impart, such as Float, Wish, Chi together with the Oriental, Pond and Lake models.

Continuing with the nature-inspired trend, additional decoration incorporates pebbles and utilizing the close proximity to other water features.

What the greatest relaxation and sensual pleasure could be while bathing in harmony with the natural surroundings! KÄSCH realizes the feeling of full serenty of body and spirit, the overflow bathtub is thus well designed to provide a complete revitalization experience. The sound of overflowing water reminds you of the great image of bathing among a waterfall, similary embraced by the hug of nature.
