The Curiosity/Milligram House
Although I personally find it hard to imagine living in the minimalist manner, this extreme example of paring all elements of habitation to the barest level has a certain appeal. Shunning all clutter and embellishment, from the austere but stunning exterior, to the incredible serenity of the kitchen and bath, this Curiosity/Milligram collaboration takes minimalism to the nth degree, while retaining a sense of design and style.
The basic design arose from a glass box combined with a walkway to connect the different floors, as seen in the exterior view.
With all the senses constantly bombarded, it makes sense to pair the living environment down to its basic level; unfortunately, it just seems like it would be quite difficult to maintain in the real world, but it would be worth a try.
