WWE Diva Maria comments on what it's like to work for Vince McMahon, reveals her favorite NFL team

Dot Net reader Agahzi Giorgis sent in the following recap of WWE Diva Maria's appearance on WFAN 660 AM in New York this morning.

Maria was interviewed by the morning guys Craig Carton and Boomer Esaison. She seemed to be having fun from the very beginning as she discussed how she mad it to WWE despite being eliminated from the Diva search. She talked about getting in the ring and actually wrestling, which always seems to surprise the hosts.

They then came up with a series of questions which she answered correctly. She knew that Mike Ditka coached the Bears (her favorite team) to the Super Bowl in '85. She knew that America fought itself in The CivIl War. Lastly, she knew Peyton Manning played for the Colts.

She also mentioned that she is dating someone right now but didn't divulge too much. She talked about previously dating a wrestler but that sometimes competition ruins a relationship. She promoted the Tribute to the Troops show airing this weekend. It was her fourth trip to see the troops in what she called a life changing experience. She also said that Vince McMahon is a great boss who never asks someone to do something that he won't. That was pretty much it.

Maria will appear on NHL Live on XM Radio channel 204 at 12:30 p.m. ET today. It will be shown on the NHL Network at broadcast live from the NHL Store on 47th & 6th Ave in Manhattan. Later, at 6:00 p.m., she will make another appearance at a location that is listed on the WWE website.

Tyson Tomko, who recently signed a contract with WWE and worked a dark match with Paul Burchill prior to Monday night's Raw taping, was seen with his arm in a sling this past week. The details and extent of his injury are unknown.

SmackDown Diva Brie Bella is asking fans to brainstorm Christmas gift ideas for her sister Nikki. Brie wrote, "I am real confused on what to get her...I like to stay on the Green side, but am open to anything!! Going shopping this weekend so let me know fast!!!!"

SmackDown Diva Maria is scheduled to appear on tomorrow's "NHL Live" show at 12:30 p.m. EST promoting Saturday's Tribute to the Troops special on NBC. "NHL Live" is broadcast live on XM Radio Channel 204, and can be seen on the NHL Network. Fans interested in seeing Maria are invited to show up at the NHL Store on the corner of 47th St. and 6th Ave in Manhattan, New York for her appearance. They are also encouraged to bring signs.

Speaking of Maria, she appeared on CNN's morning news program, American Morning, yesterday morning plugging Saturday's Tribute to the Troops special on NBC. Kanellis told Kiran Chetry the trip was a great experience, and talked about her brother being a soldier five years ago. She also said she met up with her cousin stationed in Iraq. Kanellis said morale was much higher than in the past and things felt more secure. Kanellis said all the soldiers told her she smelled good.

For those who missed it yesterday, Maria is now dating a WWE cameraman.
